SERP Snippet Preview
Type a title and meta description to see how the snippet will look in Google search results — and exactly where it gets truncated. Length is measured in pixels at the font sizes Google renders, because Google cuts snippets by width, not by character count.
Switch between desktop and mobile: the two have different width limits, and a title that fits one often does not fit the other.

Free Schema Markup Generator (JSON-LD)
Generate valid JSON-LD for Article, FAQ, HowTo and more. Required fields checked as you type.

How to use it
- 01
Enter the page URL
The URL only shapes the breadcrumb line shown above the title — nothing is fetched or sent anywhere.
- 02
Type your title and description
The preview updates as you type. The width bar turns amber as you approach the limit and red once the text will be cut.
- 03
Check both devices
Toggle desktop and mobile. Aim to fit both; if you cannot, favour the device that brings you more traffic.
How accurate is this preview?
Widths are measured with the browser's own text metrics at the sizes Google uses — 20px for desktop titles, 14px for descriptions — which is far closer to reality than counting characters. Wide letters like W and M eat space that i and l do not.
Google rewrites titles and descriptions when it judges its own version a better match for the query — studies put that at roughly half of all snippets. A preview shows your intended text, not a guarantee of what will be displayed.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server or stored.
