Refund policy

1. Overview
This Refund policy https://seonix.ai/refund-policy describes the conditions under which Seonix may refund payments for subscriptions and one-off purchases on the seonix.ai service ("Seonix", the "Service"). The Service is operated by Individual Entrepreneur Pavlo Fedotov, registered in Ukraine (full legal details in Section 15).
By subscribing to the Service you agree to this Refund policy together with our Terms of service and Privacy policy.
2. General refund policy
2.1 No refunds for subscription fees
All subscription fees paid for the Service are, as a general rule, non-refundable. This includes:
- monthly and annual subscription fees;
- partial months or unused portions of any billing period;
- fees for services already rendered (articles generated, keywords analysed, scans completed);
- add-ons and one-off purchases that have been consumed.
2.2 Why subscription fees are non-refundable
Seonix incurs immediate, irreversible costs for every active subscription: AI model usage (Gemini, Anthropic, OpenAI and others), search and analytics API calls, image generation, storage, and infrastructure. These costs are paid by Seonix to third-party providers and cannot be reclaimed once a subscription has been activated.
3. Exceptions
A refund may be granted in the following cases.
3.1 Technical issues
If the Service is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to a fault on our side, and no content was generated during the affected billing period, you may request a prorated refund for the period of unavailability.
3.2 Billing errors
We will investigate and refund verified billing errors, including duplicate charges, charges after a successful cancellation, or incorrect amounts caused by a system bug on our side.
3.3 Unauthorised charges
If you can demonstrate that a charge to your payment method was unauthorised or fraudulent, we will investigate the claim and, where verified, refund the charge and suspend or close the affected account.
3.4 Platform failure
If the Service is completely unable to generate any content for you during your first paid billing period due to a fault on our side, we may, at our sole discretion, refund the fees paid for that period.
4. Money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers
New customers are eligible for a money-back guarantee on their first paid subscription, valid for 14 calendar days from the date of payment, provided that:
- the request is the customer's first refund request;
- no article has been generated, exported or published;
- no keyword clusters, content briefs or site scans have been generated;
- the request is submitted by email to info@seonix.ai with the subject "Refund Request".
If any content was successfully generated or published during the 14-day window, the money-back guarantee does not apply, because the Service has been used and the cost of generation has already been incurred.
5. How to request a refund
Send an email to info@seonix.ai with:
- subject: "Refund Request";
- the email address associated with your Seonix account;
- the order or invoice number you are disputing;
- a clear explanation of why a refund is being requested;
- any supporting documentation (screenshots, error messages, bank statements).
Refund requests submitted through any other channel (chat, social media, in-app message) may be redirected to email and may be delayed.
6. Review process
- We will acknowledge your refund request within 1 business day.
- We will review the request and respond with a decision within 5–7 business days.
- We may ask you for additional information to verify the claim.
- The decision will be sent to you in writing with a brief explanation.
7. Refund processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the disputed charge. Funds typically reach your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. We do not refund to a different card, bank account or person.
An approved refund may result in suspension or termination of your Seonix account.
8. Cancellation policy
8.1 How to cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Seonix account settings or by emailing info@seonix.ai.
8.2 Effect of cancellation
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- You retain full access to the Service until the end of the period you have paid for.
- No prorated refund is issued for unused days within an already-paid period.
- After cancellation, your account data is retained for 90 calendar days, during which you may reactivate the subscription. After 90 days the account and its data may be deleted.
9. Chargebacks and disputes
Please contact us at info@seonix.ai before filing a chargeback or dispute with your bank or card issuer. Most refund requests can be resolved within a few business days.
Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in:
- immediate suspension or termination of your Seonix account;
- denial of future access to the Service;
- recovery of chargeback fees charged to us by the card network;
- defence of the chargeback where we believe it is not legitimate.
10. EU consumer rights
If you are a consumer based in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that recognises a statutory right of withdrawal for digital services, you have a 14-day withdrawal right starting from the date of payment.
However, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), this right is waived once the digital service has begun performance with your express consent. By starting your subscription and using the Service, you give that consent. Generating, exporting or publishing any content through Seonix is considered the beginning of performance and waives the 14-day withdrawal right.
If you have not generated any content within 14 days of payment, you may exercise the withdrawal right by emailing info@seonix.ai.
11. No refunds for the following
Refunds will not be granted for:
- change of mind after the money-back guarantee period has expired;
- failure to cancel a subscription before automatic renewal;
- dissatisfaction with the quality of AI-generated content;
- successfully generated, exported or published content;
- non-use of the Service during a paid period;
- finding a lower price elsewhere;
- third-party integration issues outside our control (e.g. WordPress site downtime, Google Search Console outages, AI provider quota changes);
- search-engine ranking or AI-search visibility results not meeting your expectations.
12. Alternative solutions
Before requesting a refund, please consider:
- pausing your subscription (where available);
- downgrading your plan to a lower tier;
- contacting our support team at info@seonix.ai for help.
We are happy to investigate any issue you have with the Service before any payment is disputed.
13. Final decision
All refund decisions are made by Seonix at our sole discretion and are final, subject to applicable consumer protection law. We may modify this Refund policy at any time by posting an updated version at https://seonix.ai/refund-policy. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
14. Governing law
This Refund policy is governed by the laws of Ukraine, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the customer's country of residence within the European Union and other jurisdictions where such rules apply.
