For custom-built websites

SEO for custom-built websiteson autopilot

Keep your code, your design and your hosting. Seonix finds what your customers search, writes the articles and publishes them to your site — after a one-time setup by your developer or your AI builder.

>Add an SEO blog to my site and connect it to Seonix: https://seonix.ai/SKILL.md

Paste into the AI tool that edits your site — Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Bolt, Replit and the like. It fetches the plan, builds the blog and the endpoint, and tests its own work.

The secret token is generated on your server and never leaves it; your Seonix account is touched only through a one-time connect code. Seonix gets no access to your code, database or hosting.

Who it is for

For sites that don't run on a CMS plugin

Built by an agency or a freelancer

Your site was made to measure and you would rather not touch its code. Send the setup link to whoever maintains it — after the one-time setup, Seonix publishes on its own.

Hand-coded or on a framework

React, Next.js, Vue, Laravel, Django, Rails, Go or plain PHP — if it can answer an HTTP request, it can receive articles.

Made with an AI website builder

Built your site by prompting an AI builder or a coding agent? Paste one prompt into the same tool and it adds the blog and the connection.

Headless or static

Content in a headless CMS, or pages generated at build time? One serverless function on your host is enough to receive the articles.

Custom website SEO

What is custom website SEO?

Custom website SEO is search optimization for sites built without an off-the-shelf CMS — hand-coded, framework-based or generated with an AI builder. There is no plugin to lean on, so everything a CMS plugin would handle — meta tags, the sitemap, structured data, a blog and a steady flow of new articles — has to live in the site itself. Seonix takes over the ongoing part: it researches what your customers search, writes the articles and publishes them to your site on a schedule, while a one-time setup adds the receiving endpoint and the SEO plumbing.

The result: your site keeps its own code, design and hosting — and still gets the content engine that WordPress sites get from a plugin. No migration, no second CMS, no copy-pasting posts.

Connecting

How to connect a custom website to Seonix

Paste the prompt above into the AI tool that edits your site — or send seonix.ai/SKILL.md to whoever maintains it. Either way the site gets one small endpoint, and you finish with a one-time connect code.

  1. 01

    Run the free analysis

Seonix studies your site, finds the searches worth winning and creates your project with a content plan.

  2. 02

Run the prompt — or share the setup link

Your AI builder or your developer follows seonix.ai/SKILL.md: blog pages, the receiving endpoint and the SEO plumbing, tested before handover.

  3. 03

    Hand over a connect code

In Seonix → Channels → Custom API, click "Generate connect code". The code registers the channel once, expires in 30 minutes, and Seonix verifies the connection immediately.

  4. 04

    Articles go live on schedule

Approve drafts or let them publish automatically — each one arrives as a native page of your site.

Prefer to build it by hand? The receiving side is a few dozen lines of code in any framework.

Business sites on their own domains publish through the same contract every day. The receiving side is a few dozen lines of code, whatever the stack.

The full loop

What Seonix runs for your website

The same four stages an in-house SEO team would run — executed continuously, in the background.

01

Research

Seonix studies your business and builds a project profile — what you offer, who buys it, how you talk about it — then finds searches with real demand and lays them out on a calendar you can edit.

02

Write and optimize

Each article targets one search intent, in your brand voice, with headings, internal links, images and structured data built in from the first draft — in any of 50+ languages.

03

Publish to your site

Articles arrive at your endpoint and go live as native pages of your site. Editing and republishing updates the same page — nothing is duplicated.

04

Track and refresh

Seonix follows rankings and clicks for every article, checks where your brand appears in AI answers, and mixes refreshes of existing pages into the calendar so winners keep getting stronger.

Frequently asked questions

Can I do SEO on a custom-built website without WordPress?

Yes. Search engines do not care which CMS produced a page — they read the HTML. What a custom site lacks is a plugin ecosystem, so the SEO basics and a steady flow of content have to come from somewhere else. With Seonix, a one-time setup adds a receiving endpoint and the blog's SEO plumbing, and Seonix supplies the research, the articles and the publishing from then on.

My site was built by an agency. What do I send them?

One link: seonix.ai/SKILL.md — the exact specification, with human-readable docs at seonix.ai/docs/api. The work is one publishing endpoint, two read endpoints, an image upload endpoint and server-rendered blog pages; the receiving side is typically a few dozen lines of code in whatever the site is built with. When it is live, you generate a one-time connect code in Seonix to finish.

My site was made with an AI website builder. Will it work?

If the builder can add server-side code to your project — an API route or a server function — yes: paste the prompt into it and it builds the blog and the connection. One thing to check: blog pages must be rendered on the server. Pages that appear only after JavaScript runs are invisible to most AI crawlers; the free AI SEO Checker at seonix.ai/tools shows whether yours pass.

My site is static, with no server. Can it receive articles?

It needs one place that can run code. Most static hosts offer serverless functions, and one is enough for the receiving endpoint. If that is not an option on your host, a platform connector — WordPress, Ghost, Webflow, Shopify or Wix — is the simpler route.

Will Seonix change my design or my code?

No. Seonix only calls the endpoint your site exposes. Articles are rendered by your own templates, on your domain, with images stored on your hosting. Seonix has no access to your code, database or hosting, and you can rotate the token or disconnect at any time.

What happens to the posts I already have?

They stay where they are, with the same URLs. The setup maps Seonix onto your existing blog instead of replacing it, and Seonix reads your current posts through the same connection, so it knows what the site already covers when it plans new articles.

Which languages are supported?

Articles can be written in more than 50 languages. A multilingual site can publish each language version under its own URL, linked to the others.

How much does it cost?

The integration, the specification and the API are free. The Free plan is $0 and includes a full technical audit of your site. Automated publishing is part of paid plans: Starter is $49/month instead of $100, or $470 a year instead of $1,200, with 30 published articles per month. Before subscribing, a 3-day trial for a one-time $1 analyzes your site and publishes 3 real articles.
