For agencies and freelancers

Agency SEO software: automate content on every client site

By Pavlo Fedotov, Founder of Seonix · Prices checked October 29, 2026

For an agency, the SEO software worth paying for is the one that does client work, not just reports on it. Seonix, which we build, runs the content side of each client site as its own project: keyword research, 30 articles a month, publishing to the client's CMS (after your approval, if you want it), a technical site audit and the site's Search Console results, for $49 per site a month. It has no white-label reports, client logins or team seats, so agencies keep their reporting tool next to it.

Below: which client work to automate and which to keep, what eight AI SEO autopilots charge for five client sites (from their official pricing pages on October 29, 2026), how an agency runs Seonix day to day, and the limits to check before you move a client onto it.

We build Seonix. Read this as a vendor's guide: every price for the other tools comes from their own pricing pages, and Seonix's limits are listed as plainly as its features.

What to automate for clients, and what to keep

Client SEO is the same seven jobs on every site. Automate the repeatable ones per site, and keep the ones that need your judgment or your client relationship.

  1. Keyword research for each client

    Automate

Seonix researches each site's queries with real search demand, in the client's language and market.

  2. Content plan and calendar

    Automate, you approve

The calendar fills itself from that research; you move, add or drop topics.

  3. Articles in the client's voice

    Automate, you approve

Drafts follow each client's brand profile; you edit them before they go live.

  4. Publishing to the client's CMS

    Automate

On a schedule, or only after your approval while the site is in draft mode.

  5. Technical site audit

    Automate

The whole client site is crawled for SEO, technical, speed and AI-search issues; many fixes apply in one click on WordPress.

  6. Results and client reporting

    Partly

Each site's Search Console results sit in your dashboard; client-facing reports stay with your reporting tool.

  7. Strategy, client calls, link building

    Keep it human

No tool should own these; Google treats automated link building as spam.

One login, a separate project for every client site

Each client site lives in its own Seonix project with its own connection, voice and plan, so nothing carries over from one client to another.

What AI SEO software charges for more client sites

Content autopilots price client sites in three ways: per site, a number of sites bundled into a plan, or one credit pool that every site shares. Here is what five client sites cost on each, from the official pricing pages on October 29, 2026.

Month-to-month prices before tax from each vendor's official pricing page on October 29, 2026; several vendors discount yearly billing. A credit pool is shared by every site on the plan, so the articles each client gets depend on how you split it. Site audit means a crawl of the whole site, not a check of one article. We did not run paid tests of these tools.

Per-site pricing is predictable when every client gets the same volume; a shared credit pool costs less when a few clients take most of the articles. Among the tools that charge per site, Seonix's $49 is the lowest, and at these prices it is the only one that includes a whole-site technical audit with an issue report.

Where seats and client reports come from

Writer-led platforms with seats

For agencies whose writers do the work

  • Frase Scale, $299 a month: 5 seats, up to 10 domains and client-ready reports to export; white-label reports and a client portal come with Enterprise
  • Scalenut Plus, $89 a month at list price: 2 domains and up to 4 team members; its Professional plan is the one it aims at agencies
  • They score and track the text; the publishing cadence stays with your team

Research and reporting suites

For the data and the client dashboards

  • Semrush and Ahrefs: keyword and backlink databases, rank tracking and site audits
  • Client dashboards and white-label reports come from a suite like these or a dedicated reporting tool
  • They show what to do; the content work stays with your team or an autopilot

How an agency runs Seonix

Five steps per client. The first one is free and needs no card, so you can see a client's plan before anyone pays.

  1. 1

Analyze the client's site for free

Paste the client's URL. Seonix builds the brand profile, finds the queries worth winning and drafts a content plan.

  2. 2

    Connect the client's CMS

WordPress through the free plugin; Webflow, Shopify, Wix and Ghost through their APIs; any other site through one endpoint.

  3. 3

    Start in draft mode

Every article waits for you. Edit it, approve it, and it publishes on the client's site.

  4. 4

Switch on Starter for that site

$49 a month, or $470 a year, per client site: 30 articles a month on a publishing schedule.

  5. 5

    Repeat for the next client

Each client is a new project. Check every site's Search Console results and site health in its own dashboard.

Seonix for agencies: what it does and what it doesn't

What it does

  • Up to 10 client sites under one login, each its own project
  • Its own CMS connection, brand profile, keyword plan and calendar per site
  • Draft mode per site: you approve before anything is published
  • Articles in the client's brand voice, under the author set in the client's CMS connection
  • A technical audit of every client site, with one-click fixes on WordPress
  • One MCP connection that reads every paid client site

What it doesn't

  • No team seats or roles: an account has one login
  • No client logins or client portal
  • No white-label or exported client reports
  • No overview of all clients on one screen
  • No agency plan or volume discount: every site is $49
  • Not built for more than 10 client sites per login

Most agencies keep their reporting tool for client dashboards and rank tracking, and let Seonix do the content work on each site.

Clients who hold their own Seonix account can sign up through your partner link: the affiliate program pays 50% of their payments for their first 12 months.

Seven questions to ask before you move clients onto a tool

  1. 1What do five, ten or twenty client sites cost, at the volume each client needs?
  2. 2Is the article quota per site, or one credit pool shared by every client?
  3. 3Does it publish to each client's CMS, or export text you paste in?
  4. 4Can you approve drafts per client before they go live?
  5. 5Does each client get its own brand voice and plan, and who appears as the author?
  6. 6Who can log in: your team, your clients, or only you?
  7. 7Where do client reports come from: the tool, or your reporting stack?

Frequently asked questions

It depends on the work you sell. For content-led retainers, an autopilot that researches, writes and publishes on each client site saves the most hours; Seonix (ours) does that for $49 per site a month with a site audit included. For rank tracking, research and white-label client reports, agencies use suites such as Semrush or Ahrefs, or a dedicated reporting tool. Most run one of each.

Yes. Each client site is its own project with its own CMS connection, brand profile, keyword plan, calendar and subscription. One login holds up to 10 client sites today.

$245 a month: $49 per client site on Starter, each with 30 articles a month. Yearly billing is $470 per site, or $2,350 for five. A site that only needs the technical audit can stay on the free plan.

No. There are no white-label reports, client logins or client portal. Each site's Search Console results, site health and articles are in your dashboard; agencies that send branded reports build them in their reporting tool.

Not today. A Seonix account has one login, without seats or roles.

Articles are written in each client's brand voice, and first-person passages are signed with the client's site name, never with your personal name. The byline is the author set in each client's CMS connection, so you decide what readers see.

Yes. Draft mode holds every article for your approval; automatic mode publishes on schedule. The mode is set per site, so a new client can start in draft mode while a long-standing one runs on its own.

Google does not penalize content for being automated; it acts on scaled content abuse, meaning many low-value pages made to manipulate rankings, and on automated link building. Keep draft mode on while a client is new, check the facts, and leave link building to people.

Yes, through the affiliate program: when a client signs up through your link and pays for their own account, you earn 50% of their payments for their first 12 months.
